With heavy hearts, the Pioneer Fire Company shares news of the passing of Vice President Paul McBride. Paul had over forty years in the fire service- including both twenty years in the Pioneer Fire Company as well as with the Edge Hill Fire Company in Abington Township.

Paul returned to active status with Pioneer in 2021 where he served operationally as a driver-operator. Paul was elected as the company Vice President in 2023 and served in this function through his recent illness.

Paul leaves behind is wife, Lisa as well as his children, P.J., Brody, and Kylie McBride and his sister, Veronica “Kay” McBride. Paul's daughter, Kylie continues his legacy with the Pioneer Fire Company where she has most recently served as a junior firefighter.
