| On Thursday, November 6, members of the Jenkintown Volunteer Fire Department participated in a live fire training exercise. Firefighters completed five scenario-based evolutions designed to reinforce vital operational skills, including scene size-up, radio communication, incident command, forcible entry, hose line deployment and advancement, search and rescue, victim removal, pump operations, stream application, ventilation, and ground ladder deployment.
These hands-on training scenarios are essential for ensuring our firefighters remain proficient and prepared to respond effectively to real emergencies. More than 20 of the department’s certified interior firefighters, along with dedicated support personnel, took part in this comprehensive training event. |
