On Monday, May 1 Dennis Cline was awarded with his certificate for achieving life member status after 25 dedicated years of active service to the citizens of Jenkintown with the Pioneer Fire Company. Dennis currently serves as the Captain of the Fire Police unit, the Vice President of the fire company and the Vice President of the Relief Association.

Dennis joined the Pioneer Fire Company in 1998 and has served in a variety of roles and functions during his tenure. Dennis created the fire police unit after joining the company, which now boasts 10 qualified fire police officers.

In recent years, Dennis has also supplemented the firefighting crew as a support member to assist primarily during daytime responses.
