Recently Pioneer Fire Company member Nelson Gomez completed training in Hazardous Materials Operations through the Montgomery County Fire Academy. After having already completed training in Emergency Vehicle Operations and Pump 1, Nelson is working to complete his training to become a driver-pump operator with the fire company with the goal of being a fully accredited driver of our apparatus. You may see Nelson in the coming weeks and months performing driver training on our borough streets and pumping our apparatus at our Thursday night drills. We congratulate and thank Nelson for his efforts since he joined the fire company!
