| The Pioneer Fire Company, an all
volunteer fire company, is located in Montgomery
County, Pennsylvania and has been devoted to
serving the residents of Jenkintown Boro and its
neighboring communities since 1884. The
Jenkintown Fire Department consists of the
Pioneer Fire Company #1 and the Independent Fire
Company #2. The Pioneer Fire Company was
organized in 1884 and the Independent Fire
Company was organized in 1889. |
